Catrin is a contemporary abstract artist raised in northern Sweden, where the stillness and expansive landscapes continue to inform her artistic voice.

 

From an early age, she was drawn to creating—rarely without a sketchpad or crayons in hand—laying the foundation for a lifelong creative journey.Rooted in her northern heritage, Catrin works with soft, tones, building layered compositions through acrylic, mixed media, and collage.

 

Her process is intuitive and reflective, resulting in works that evoke calm, depth, and subtle emotional resonance. She has participated for many years in the Danderyd Spring Salon, and has also held exhibitions in her own home, where the atmosphere of northern Sweden becomes an integral part of the viewing experience.

Through her evolving visual language, Catrin creates spaces for contemplation, inviting viewers into a quiet and immersive world.
